Every order is checked at pick-up and again at delivery.
VeriScale builds a scale into the handle of the courier's delivery bag. Each time the bag is lifted, the weight is checked against the order through our API: once at pick-up, and again at the door.
Pick up
The courier lifts the bag. The handle weighs it and the API confirms it matches the order before they leave.
In transit
The order travels in the same bag, so nothing can be added or left behind without showing up on the next check.
Deliver
At the door, the weight is confirmed again. If anything doesn't match, it's flagged at that moment.
The device
A scale in the handle of the delivery bag.
Nothing changes for the courier. They carry the bag as they always have, and every lift is a weight reading.
